Our Story

HJT Foods (dba Hong Jing Tian Sdn Bhd), located in Myanmar, a resource-rich country
that ranks 9th in the world for aquaculture production. We have been involved in
seafood industry in Myanmar fo 35+ years, since 1986, commited to delivering
products that are 100% natural, safe and of the highest quality.

Sea Master (M) Sdn Bhd: Joint-ventured with Myanmar People’s Pearl and Fisheries Cooperation (PPFC). Supported government’s initiative to modernize the fishing industry in Myanmar. Focused on jellyfish, sea-caught shrimp, hilsa, etc.

1994

Sea Master (M) Sdn Bhd: Organized a fleet of Thai and Malaysian fishing vessels to harvest resources from the Andaman Sea.

1998

Mascot Industries Co. Ltd : Mascot was the first factory to be built in Myeik (southern Myanmar) Processed and exported seafood caught by the fishing fleet

2002

A.S.K Andaman Ltd: Joint-ventured with Texchem to set up a factory in Myeik for surimi and fishmeal processing The first (of five) soft shell crab farms was established in Myanmar – Kaung Kaung Aquaculture Ltd.

Texchem Seafood (Myanmar): Sea Master, Mascot and A.S.K Andaman were acquired by Texchem.
